Can u guys review Gammon drums? i heard they suck, but also heard they pretty good for a starter kit! so i just need some feedback!

With new heads, and proper tuning, they will sound almost as good as any kit!

i honestly thing most entry-level drumsets are made by the same companies in China with slight variations in lugs, mounting hardware etc.
i think a Gammon is no worse than say a PDP Z5, just about all SP kits and the likes.
i got my 5 yr old a Z5 and i threw Evans G2 clears and an EMAD on it, tuned it and id gig with the set. not very fond of 10,12 toms but it sounds awesome! plus it fits my kid (shes tall)
i played it as my kit for 4 months while i refurbed my Pearl.
good heads with proper tuning youll be fine.
again ill stress proper tuning.
a DW tuned wrong will sound worse than a Gammon tuned properly
