Wink The Top New Drumming Products for 2012

Here are some of the hottest new drum accessories. I'm sorry I couldn't provide links and Drum Bum doesn't carry these yet.

    1) Drum Head Polish
The 4 oz. bottle will remove unwanted stick scuffs and keep those drum heads looking like new for months. Recommended for clear drum heads.

    2) Stick Dent Filler
The 2 oz. jar fills in and smooths out stick kneck dents and chips caused by rim shots and hi-hat edges. There are three color varieties to choose from; Hickory, Oak & Maple. Sticks last up to 50% longer if used as directed.

    3) Electronic Dust Shield
This device plugs into any 110V outlet. There are two leads, which attach to the bass drum spures. The device emitts a pulse current (safe for pets weighing 2 lbs. or more) that creats an anti-static shield around the drum set. Dust cannot settle on the kit when activated. Never need to dust your drum kit again. Not safe for e-kits.

    4) Snare Buzz Filter
This adjustable, proprietary foam type, material wraps around the snare drum. It serves a dual purpose. Not only does the smart design look good on any drum, it acts as a buzz frequency blocker. The sound of snare wire buzzing against the snare-side head due to sympathetic vibrations is absorbed in what the manufacturer calls Buzz Scrubbers. This does not interfere with the drum's ability to project wanted snare sound through stick attack on the batter head.

That sounds pretty cool. Where did you see/hear about it? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Shouldn't you have waited for the first of April to post this?

I like the sound of the snare buzz filter. I'd Definetely buy one of them. No more snare wire sounds anymore. Got a link for that one?

Added benefit when plugged onto each BD pedal: increases bpm by over 150%..! Best playing in bare feet (less eficient with rubber-soled trainers...)

Which one, please..? I already have Tower (London...) and Golden Gate, I would be interested in a Brooklyn for the right price. Could you estimate shipping costs to Europe, please..?

I'm sorry, I must disagree here. I tried this and lost a lot of hair. I recommend egg shampoo for efficient head cleaning. Drum skins, however, they're quite a different ketle of fish, and can be cleaned quite easily. Best to remove from drum before boiling, though.
    Hope this helps...
    Have a nice day.
