Every, but every drummer learning to play classic rock should at least learn to play Free's "Alright Now".

I think he is very underrated. A truly solid rock drummer. One of my influences.

Bad Co. and Free would have been a lot different without Simon. He had a great feel in his playing. I loved the placement of his kick within the beat. I used to play along with much of Bad Co.'s 1st album in the 70's and 80's.

Very often overlooked...and that's too bad.

Love Simon's playing. Simple and tasteful.

Back in the early '80s in my full time gigging days, I always looked forward to our Bad Company covers, especially Good Loving Gone Bad. What a great tune!

    Cheers, all.

Maybe it's the way it was recorded but his kick foot sounds really weak.

Saw a clip of him recently playing guitar. Rather talented.
