Super Kick I vs. Super Kick II

I see a lot of people like the SK II, I just got the SK I and think it's the best thing since the invention of the bass drum.

Just thought it would be fun to make a poll.

Oh, I added the SK III although I don't know anybody that has one.

One of my kits have an EMAD. It's very good for R&B sets.

People on a whole seem to not like the superkick period - that selection is winning hands down at the moment. hahaha

i like and use both, but for my taste i have switched from the 2 ply to the sk1 on both my 18" and 20" kicks.

What are you using for a resonant head? I am using the stock head that came with the set. It would probably sound better with the Aquarian head. (I just didn't have the cash to buy both at the same time)

i prefer to use fyberskyn with no hole on both, but for ease of mic'ing i have been using the stock pearl logo remo with a hole on my 20" on my steady work gig.

I just bought the Sk 2 pack and HOLY SH*@, I thought I liked the Emad but man the super deep punch, and massive attack is so awesome, I now find myself just wanting to hit the kick drum all the time, cause it sounds so damn good.

I thought the same thing when I got the SK1. They didn't have the SK2 set up, so I couldn't compare the two..
