SWEET! Get to playing!
Looks great
very nice, love that finish and hardware choice
Awesome. Looking forward to the after pics.
Those look amazing! Natural finish is always a winner in my book. Now you know why they call them Epics eh?

Very classy. I heavily considered Epics when shopping last time out. Very much looking forward to seeing them all set-up and hearing them and your feedback. Beautiful choice.

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

Love the finish man it is a beauty so enjoy it and keep on drumming.
Wow, they came faster than I'd expected. NICE!!
Now the ultimate love affair and fun can begin.

Oh and do check in once in a while so we know you are still with us.

Excellent looking drums. Can't wait to see them set up.
Beautiful !! Get them set up and post a pic
To all you guys here at DC, thank you very much.
I promise once they are set up, more photos will be here.
At this point, I am making sure every screw is tight and also changing out the heads; I got the 16 X 16 floor tom and the two rack toms completed yesterday.
I found three loose lug screws on the 12-inch tom.........its always a good idea to check everything out while the drums are still in a disassembled state.
For anyone that is considering adding another kit to your collection without spending the entire bank account, I can tell you this much :
For the money I spent, I am still in shock over the look and build of this kit; if they will sound half as good, I will be a very happy Ludwig owner once again.

Congratulations on the new kit. I really like the finish. What heads are you putting on them?
TAMA- '2018 Star Walnut, ‘99 Starclassic Performer, '89 Granstar, ‘93 Rockstar
Gretsch- 1963 Round Badge
Zildjian
Remo
Vic Firth
Speed Cobra Double Pedal Blackout Edition
Speed Cobra Hi Hat
Hardware- TAMA Roadpro
Snare Drums- various TAMA, Gretsch, Ludwig, Leedy
Mic's- Sennheiser, Shure, AKG
I am attempting to keep the stock heads on all the drums for the reso-head side............they look like Remo Diplomats to me.
For the batter side, I am starting out with coated Remo Vintage Emperors on the snare and toms...........clear Remo Powerstroke 3s on the basses.
We'll see how it goes..........might have to change my mind later.

Ricardo, enjoy them! They are indeed beautiful.
"I consider every drummer that ever played before me an influence, in every way." (Buddy Rich)
"How do you keep 90 people together with one stick? I've got two sticks and i can't keep 5 people together." (Ian Paice)
I would guess it's actual wood since the Epics are birch-maple-birch in terms of the actual layers of the shell.
