That's a nice looking guitar Mr Ice. The vine inlay is a really nice touch.

Here's my latest. It's a Takamine Glenn Frey Signature Model - solid Sitka top, solid rosewood back and sides, acoustic-electric. It's a solid wood version exactly patterned after Glenn Frey's long time #1 guitar.

That looks like a sweet guitar, PB. Every Takamine I've played felt and sounded good. Even the Jasmines. Someday I'll buy a nice solid top acoustic, just to keep at home. I haul my guitar to gigs and practices all the time. It sees a lot of extremes in terms of temp and humidity, so I figured a cheaper laminate top would be a better fit for my application.

N2Bluz, I picked up a new Alvarez AD60CE on a really sweet deal about 8 months ago. It was the first solid top 6-string acoustic-electric for me (I do have a solid top Takamine 12-string), and I was absolutely amazed by the amount of resonance I heard when compared to the all laminate Ibanez that I had been playing in church. The all solid wood Takamine was encountered while just exploring whether all solid wood would be worth the consideration.

I now have the solid top, laminate mahagony back & sides 6-string Alvarez, solid top, laminate flamed maple back & sides 12-string Takamine, and the all solid wood 6-string Takamine. All are acoustic-electric so they are easy to play in the church. I think I'm all set.

I own 5 guitars, but barely play. Mostly find a good deal here and there on great recording guitars.

    My Martin D16RGT.

Got it in a trade, it was smashed from the airlines, the guy I trust with all of my guitars did a great job repairing it for $200.

I traded a guitar amp that somebody left at my house when they moved out of the country. So this is my $200 Martin, fully setup.

Thanks Russ! The pictures don't do this guitar justice. The red is like a red stain under a thick clear coat. Looks awesome up close.

Here's mine... It's a 2005 Korean made Epiphone Les Paul. It was all stock with junky electronics and a bird's nest of tiny wires. I gutted it and upgraded all of the electronics, with vintage braided wiring, run 50's style, new orange drop caps, CTS550K pots, Seymour Duncan Alnico II pickups, s Switchcraft switch and output jack. All hand installed by myself.

I have an American Special Telecaster.

    And I have a Martin DX1C.

Honestly though, I'm a mediocre guitarist, so these are more than enough for me. They get more use when musician friends stop by.

    But...

Besides being a drummer/percussionist I'm a pretty serious bassist. And I have a few basses.

People might think I'm out of what there is of my mind, but I think a blonde Telecaster with a black pickguard is one the most beautiful things mankind has ever produced.

    No, I don't have one.

I have a 1975 Ibanez Rick copy, Tex. Maple glow. It was my first bass. I bought it for $125 bucks 20 years ago. The guy I bought it from has asked me to sell it back to him a number of times in recent years.

You can kinda see it here:
