That looks like a sweet guitar, PB. Every Takamine I've played felt and sounded good. Even the Jasmines. Someday I'll buy a nice solid top acoustic, just to keep at home. I haul my guitar to gigs and practices all the time. It sees a lot of extremes in terms of temp and humidity, so I figured a cheaper laminate top would be a better fit for my application.

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"
Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
N2Bluz, I picked up a new Alvarez AD60CE on a really sweet deal about 8 months ago. It was the first solid top 6-string acoustic-electric for me (I do have a solid top Takamine 12-string), and I was absolutely amazed by the amount of resonance I heard when compared to the all laminate Ibanez that I had been playing in church. The all solid wood Takamine was encountered while just exploring whether all solid wood would be worth the consideration.
I now have the solid top, laminate mahagony back & sides 6-string Alvarez, solid top, laminate flamed maple back & sides 12-string Takamine, and the all solid wood 6-string Takamine. All are acoustic-electric so they are easy to play in the church. I think I'm all set.

I own 5 guitars, but barely play. Mostly find a good deal here and there on great recording guitars.
My Martin D16RGT.
Got it in a trade, it was smashed from the airlines, the guy I trust with all of my guitars did a great job repairing it for $200.
I traded a guitar amp that somebody left at my house when they moved out of the country. So this is my $200 Martin, fully setup.

NICE, Tex! Get thumping!
Here's mine... It's a 2005 Korean made Epiphone Les Paul. It was all stock with junky electronics and a bird's nest of tiny wires. I gutted it and upgraded all of the electronics, with vintage braided wiring, run 50's style, new orange drop caps, CTS550K pots, Seymour Duncan Alnico II pickups, s Switchcraft switch and output jack. All hand installed by myself.

Gorgeous, Cycledude!
Love that bass collection!
People might think I'm out of what there is of my mind, but I think a blonde Telecaster with a black pickguard is one the most beautiful things mankind has ever produced.
No, I don't have one.

May this be the best day you ever had and the worst you ever will. Trinity House Mudslinger.
Drummer, that bass collection is stunning! I really like that Rickenbacker on the front row, center position.
