    Default Recomendations for around ~$800-900?

Hey guys, the day has finally come and im finalizing with selling the rest of my old kit and pedals to buy a nice electronic kit So with that, what E-kits would you guys reccomend for around that price range (used or new)?

    what im looking for

    -Easy to learn user interface
-Some form of USB interface to download custom sounds/updates/etc
-An included pedal would be a huge plus
    -Dual zone snare
-Atleast 2 cymbals included, with choke and bell would be a even bigger plus

So, what would yall recommend? Sofar ive been looking at the Simmons SD9K and Alesis DM10

For a kit that has usb in that price range, I think you're gonna have a tough time finding another kit with the same feature until you go a lot higher. What you might do is get a midi to usb cord or a converter so you can use any kit with midi in with your computer. I hear good and bad about the DM10, but it seems like a sweet deal to me.

Sweet! Looking forward to the pictures and lowdown of how you like it. You should know though, that module does not leave much room for expandability within itself. Should you ever decide you need to, you may have to pick up an additional module and mix it with the rest of the kit for more inputs.

Thats not much of a concern for me for now, honestly the most I see myself adding is 1 or 2 cymbals and for the specs it says off the bat you can add 4 more toms or cymbals. But yes, ill certainly make sure to post some pics :D

the toms positioning will take a bit of getting used to otherwise im in love :D the snare feels GREAT best part is behind the garage door my family reports it being practically silent though that may change when I get a kick pedal for it :P

edit- realized i had my ride and HH switched, DOH!

cool man! looks good and also if you have an output you can just connect it to an mp3 or something that you can record into with an input, thats what im doing at the moment and it works

Nice set, congrats! Is the bell on the crash and ride supposed to be pushed further back like that?

Nice! We have almost the same setup. I have the 520K but I swapped out
the XP80 Snare for an XP100SD Snare. Then I swapped the PCY135 ride
for the larger PCY155 and I use the old ride as my crash cymbal. I still
have the original PCY100 crash and it is plugged into the kick base input.

crash- Yes, its kind of awkward to hit at first lol.
ride-No, its switched haha I was just in the rush of setting it up at first haha, the ride is the larger one where the hh should be. I suppose it could be either but for me anyway it was just more functional as a ride for me you know
