I thought I'd make some use of my hard-earned annual leave to do a new cover. I decided to do a cover of a John Legend track called 'Save Room', which was quite challenging - the emphasis on the off-beat with the hi-hat took some refining but I'm quite happy with the end result - it's a fantastic song! Notice how the cat is quite happy to sleep through the entire thing, which is odd - she likes my little drum room!
Sounds great...cool thing about the e-kits.....doesn't bother the cats. Yesterday, I sat down at my kit...hit the bass drum...and one of my cats came flying out of the reso port.....bet she wishes I was on an e-kit
I'll probably regret saying this, but Lilycat hasn't (yet) abused my drums at all, since I got them - she tends to stay off them. She also sits in the room when I play them, happy as you like. I don't know what it is. I doubt, with her extra-sensitive feline perception of sound, that it's therapeutic in any way.
