    Default back beat

hullo all Im from australia and am trying to find an E-Mail address for the ludwig drum co.
Or some body may be able to help.
I purchased a Ludwig Downbeat kit (I think early 60's) ,I gigged regularly till
2001 when I thought it was all over.
Recently I have been asked to do a semi pro gig but the gear h asto look good.
My down beats are looking tatty .
I have stripped the paint off the base drum woods but am trying to find out if it is in order to just repaint with gloss enamel or is there a laquer available for the job.
Hope some one can help I'd hate to go back to work with a different kit.
