I'll start. My band Blackout played our first show that we through together a few weeks ago at a park. This photo just happened to get captured, and I have to say its a pretty epic photo of me!

I see you have to share your little piece of stage with some one else's gear.

Typical. Everyone always wants to hang out with the drummer.

Some great shots here! Do we have a Show Us Your Pic type thread? This is a nice start, but the "epic" requirement may keep some from posting here.

I wish I had an epic pic. I can't even get a copy of the pics that were taken at our first gig.

Oh well, it's cool to see everyone's pics here.

There some pretty awesome photos here!

They don't have to really be "epic". Just whatever you think is an awesome shot of you playing. I guess requiring it to be epic does limit a lot of submissions, but again it is all your opinion. keep em coming guys!

    EPIC:
    adjective
Noting or pertaining to a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style.

The over use of the word epic in recent vernacular is comical in it's inaccuracy, to me.
    Anyway...
Every picture of a drummer in action is EPIC to my eyes. When you can see that a player is just going for it or just feeling it...that's the epic part. (If ya can't beat'em, join 'em.)

This is from a gig back in '94.
    Proudly playing:
    Doc Sweeney Drums
    A bunch of snares
    A bunch of cymbals

    Off-Set double pedals

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!
