    Default Acoustic to Acoustic/Electronic Conversion

    Looks like I'm going ahead with my conversion.

    My brother is going to build some half toms to use with his new TD9 instead of the stock pads (which he's going to sell), so we are going to test out fabricating a crossbar setup attached to the lug screws with some cone triggers, etc... Got some Billy Blast heads and Quartz triggers on the way!

    I'm planning on using the older Tama kit, but no drilling. Hopefully we can get the jacks through the vent hold, otherwise we'll have to play around with something, or I might have to buy a cheapo kit and drill for the jacks.

    Going to buy some upgraded Yamaha E-cymbals and trigger BFD through the DTXpress III module I have until I can sell the whole DTXpress III kit. If I can sell the kit, then I'll just buy another used Yamaha module, since they worst best with the PCY cymbals.

    Once we get moving I'll keep you posted with pics. His toms will most likely be done first.
