Replacement Snare.... Traps E500

Hi.

Thanks for allowing me to join

I play with a Traps E500 kit, which I've had for about a year, I like it for practicing but.... The pickups on the snare are constantly failing and I keep getting warranty replacements which also fail, does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement snare with pickups that will last?

I can't afford to replace the kit.

DDrum Redshots may do the trick - I can't see any reason why they might be compatible. I'm sure Arbiter wouldn't mind confirming this for you.

I feel for you. My Traps E450 never fully 'worked' (it would trigger differently every time I used it) and I had a replacement hi-hat controller not long after I got it. After a year, I ditched it. Their customer service is excellent, though it's a shame I had to experience it off the back of a product which isn't very robust.

I have not heard too many good things/reviews about the Traps. Same issues you have explained here are what I have heard. It's unfortunate.

I have heard good things about the ddrum red shot triggers.
