MP3 Rocket is still there I think. Haven't used it in quite a while. I get most of my music from Amazon for a buck a song. That way I don't have to buy songs on an album I don't care for. Unless it's a good album with most (according to my taste) of the songs worthy of buying. Then I will spend it on a CD.

The younger generation condones stealing and justifies it. Bottom line: It is still stealing.
Use the Golden Rule. It will never mislead you.
I do find it funny when people who want make a living with music condone stealing it.
Where on Amazon have you been looking? Type in any song, followed by a hyphen, then the artist. Not just the album name. You'll just get the album then, not the individual songs. For .99 cents each, sometimes cheaper. Or click on "MP3 Store" in their directory. I did say that MP3 Rocket is still up for free music, didn't I?

we are not stealing we be sharing ...yar
if you want quality then by the CD ..CDs are cheep these days too
i think we should stop giving "apple" itunes our money and the internet should be free
This site : http://www.vidtomp3.com/ allows you to paste the link of the you tube video of the song you want and covert it to mp3 and download. I do not consider this stealing because the video's are on the internet already, and the sound quality is good, but no where near as good as it would be if you buy the song. Good enough to grab some tune to learn though.
Ive never found YouTube to be "Difficult" as long as you used a quality downloading program. I download most tunes into my YouTube to MP3 downloader so when it finishes downloading to my comp...its already in MP3 format.
I use DVD Video Soft Free Studio which includes a lot of different programs; One is the YouTube to MP3 downloader and the other one is the YouTube video downloader. And these programs are Freeware...CNETdownload.com is where I ran into the program some time ago.
