    Default marching snare tricks?

While learning a new song for marching band I cam across a quarter not with both hands that says "spider" over it. I know this is some sort of trick but what is it? and how do I do it? (I googled it, couldn't find anything)

If you youtube "spida toss" it's a pretty cool stick trick. If it's over a quarter note though... I'm not exactly sure. Stick tricks are usually pretty unique to each line. I'd ask your drum tech about it. If you're part of a snare line, they'll be wanting everybody to do the exact same thing so I'm betting that they will teach it to you.
