got this awesome new toy today, the focusrite liquid mix

man it really does make my mixes sound big..

instantly made the kit sound better with minimal tweaking




really liking the neve and avalon emulations ...so good!

the only issue i have found is i can only run the emulations at a highest sample rate of 96k

was running at 192k before this but i haven't really noticed a huge difference since changing down

will do a a/b test in the future

Yea, that seems to be a problem for a lot of plugins out there. We record at 192 as well and we have run into similar problems.

I agree, the difference in 192 and 96 is minimal. I really only see a difference when we start layering multiple tracks and at that it is again +/- if I really hear a big difference.

I can only use 8 dsp tracks at 96k too ... Might try sorce a expansion card bring it upto 16 tracks
