    Question Hang?

Has anyone ever heard of, or played, a European instrument called a "Hang" ??

A friend of mine saw a busker play an instrument she had never seen, and when she asked him, he said it was called a Hang, and it was from Switzerland or Sweden or something??

I'm just interested in finding one on the web or learning how to play etc.

Does anyone knosw anything about it?

    Hey, mate! Here's a link! http://www.oddmusic.com/gallery/om16250.html

And, as you'll see, it's pronounced "hung."

There is a certain brand of grilling kettle (barbecue grill for our Yank buddies) called a Weber kettle; It looks something like a black ball on three spindly legs and is immensely popular as a fairly inexpensive charcoal grill. The picture of the hang on this website looks like I took a hammer to a Weber kettle and tried to turn it into a steel drum...

might just try that since I replaced my old Weber kettle with a new grill...gonna have to study this site...
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!
