Looks good. What kind of wrap did you use?
Mmm... Saturns.
Thanks. I used a "one-man-band" drum wrap company and custom drum builder out of San Antonio TX called "Tone Custom Drums". I had his graphic designer make me a "one off" wrap design for a 3pc. for $250. I botched the 13x9 wrap (first attempt) so I re-ordered and had to redo it.

When those came out on the market I wanted one so bad!
Hell I still do. I think they are an awesome setup.
Beautiful kit and thanks for sharing it
This one has a 14X24 as well......................

Gretsch USA & Zildjian(What Else Would I Ever Need ?)
Outstanding !
The SK series bass batters are very tough..............but easy to get a great classic rock sound.
The coated snare heads have a coating that lasts twice as long as competitor brands.
I'm still in the experimentation stage with the tom batters -- don't know yet because not many fit my old Gretsch/Jasper shells.

Those Concept Classics are sweet! I just sold my Concept Maples. The build quality was excellent and they sounded good as well.

Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
Im pretty happy with mine! I’m doing a couple mods to them however. 1. New heads top and bottom! The stock heads on this kit are so terrible! 2. I ordered new tru pitch stainless tension rods from DW for both Toms and will order some for the kick drum soon. All of the tension rods on this kit are sticky and grabby and are not smooth at all, not sure what’s up with that but I’m hating it.
So I’m hoping with these fixes these babies will sing, because right now the Toms are just dead sounding and horrible.

Nice drums everyone!
Sticky tension rods are common on a brand new kit. Mine were the same way, as well as the new Ludwig Centennials I bought. They’re just dry..... add a little dab of Vaseline to the threads and they’ll be fine.
My Concept Maples sounded pretty good, but were always just a touch on the dull or muted side. I had clear G2 batters and G1 reso heads. I suspect it was the softer Asian Maple they used. The interiors even felt a little soft to the touch. A good wipe down on the interiors with Tung oil will help brighten the sound, as well as protect them.

Thanks for the tips! That encouraging with the tension rods, I will definitely be doing that. I still wanted the true pitch 50 tension rods anyways, but that’s good to know!
I have actually been thinking of finishing the inside of the shells, but now I have a bit more of a reason to.
I just hoping the new heads make a difference in the sound.
Man I have been out of the game for 3 yrs and have forgotten all the tricks and the little things lol
Thanks for your help and advise!!

use White lithium grease instead of vaseline.
Especially if you ever plan on taking them out for a gig
Yes, vaseline is designed for skin and yes it's a lubricant but not for metal on metal like what we are using it for. Under heat (and not even extreme heat) vaseline will start liquifying.
White lithium grease is actually designed as a metal to metal lubricant and will hold up longer and protect better.
Here's a nice video comparison
candle wax works on the bearing edges if ya drums are cheap
And keep in mind if you go to tru-pitch tension rods you're going to have to swap out the lug inserts too. They may come as a package... I don't know.
