I don't remember ever seeing this kit? Is it backline/house kit? Either way, I like it!

I've tucked my own kit drum heads and I always use American White Calfhide either from SternTanning or Rebeats. I'm pretty sure these are calfhide heads. I use Water Buffalo (LP HandPicked) hides for my conga drums. I hear Mule Hide is good for congas too.

I have a used 20" BD head I tucked recently and I may cut it down and put it on this drums. All this depends on how the calfhide is mounted on this drum. I'm hoping it is mounted on a wood flesh-hoop = that will be an easy fix.

Setting up for a show tomorrow! I somehow got my drums sounding the best they've ever sounded, and in the most perfect position they've ever been in. I literally have never felt so comfortable behind a drumset. I can't WAIT to go play them tomorrow!

4-piece is my favorite flavor of ice cream. What is that inverted bell by your ride? It looks a little large to be the 9"ish- Zil-Bel. My eyes could be playing tricks on me, though.

Thanks for the compliments. The bass drum hoops are wood, but the rest are powdercoated metal hoops.

Years and Years of GAS is how I got most of those cymbals. I should get rid of some, but I never do....I always think I may need them someday.

Sorry for not celebrating for you sooner. I just got in the door from substituting at the local high school and then working a shift at my restaurant job right after. The looks alone were worth the wait!

Now I better not see another post from you until February because you'll be too busy playing them, smelling them, wiping them with a microfiber cloth, fiddling with the positioning, and late at night, when no one else is awake, take a tom off the mount and slow dancing with it.

It's ok. We're all drummers here. We understand and won't judge.
