Squid, it looks like you tried to modify your orig post to get the pic to show. That threw it back into moderation. I went to your pic url and when you copy the image destination, it doesn't give you a proper image url. It needs to end in .jpg or .gif to show in here. your file ended in .../gallery/image.php?mode=medium&album_id=2865&image_id=32994
Unless you can find out how to copy that image from there, you may need another image site. I looked in the code but couldn't find your picture in there.

Yep ,nice set , i too love the natural maple , i hesitated a lot between that and white , the reason i choose white was because it takes the color of the light show so well , i still like the natural look better tho.
Thanks ludleg, I find the setup to be quite comfortable with everything within easy reach ...
Thanks FBN ...
It's a gloss finish although I believe Ludwig does offer a Satin finish ...
From left to right: Zildjian 14" A new beats (80's), Zildjian 12" A thin crash, Zildjian 18" A custom crash, Zildjian 18" K dark thin crash, Zildjian A 20" ping ride, Wuhan 18" Linear Smash ...

Here is a shot of one of my kits at a gig this past Saturday night.
The equipment list is...
DW Collector's Series in Broken Glass finish
Ludwig Black Beauty snare drum
DW 9000 series bass drum and hi hat pedals
DW 6000 series flat based stands
Zildjian K Custom cymbals
Shure microphones
Kelly SHU bass drum microphone mount
I love the entire setup! What a great size combination. The dynamic range must be great on that kit
Thanks Spaz!
The last time that I set up the full kit happened to be my first gig with that band. I knew that we were going to be on a big stage, so I went for it. It was actually a fill in as their drummer quit ten days before a major gig. I was offered the permanent gig and decided to join.
We play a mix of rock and soul, I don't really need a huge kit for this band. We have a show in June that I'm thinking of bringing the full kit for, just because I can. It's fun to play on every once in a while. It's too much work when you are doing shows every week.
The other thing that I have to consider is that we are more of a show band. A lot of things are choreographed, I can't change fills too much for those parts.
