How would I lead the band in a cover of "Mississippi Queen"?

hey thanks pb you were right all i had to do was use my drum key then unscrew the screw, the clamps still on there but it doesn't affect anything. also i don't have the toms where i would like to have them but there in a convienent spot and are alot closer than before, now if i could only replace those heads...

My first kit was a Yamaha and had that mount. Lift the toms all the way up and swing them so the rims are only about an inch apart and lock 'em down. You'll love it that way, bud.

Glad you were able to get closer to what you want Drummer 118. It will be a process to get it set up the way that is "right" for you. I've been playing for almost 2 years now, and I think I've been tinkering with the set up the whole time. I think I'm finally getting enough understanding to get it just the way I like it, and the way it needs to be for maximum efficiency of movment around the kit.

The cymbals are all Paiste Signatures. It sounds great in the studio, but now I want to get it out with the band and give it a try...

The ekit is great because it can be any kit I want it to be but it has no soul like an acoustic kit. I want to get my vista's up and going next.

My babies are doing well! Don't have any new pics...but I really should take some new ones of the Pearls since I got the new Eliminators for them. And I might have some new ones of the Dubbs soon, thinking about incorporating some splashes into the mix!

Also, we have another gig this coming Friday, and I can't decide which kit to use!!
