Mark, I'm a big fan of the Wuhans - good price, and nice sound. The Chinas have an excellent trashiness to them, but you definitely have to audition each Wuhan cymbal, because being hand made, they are all different. You have to find the one that sounds best to your ears. The Splash isn't as trashy, but there is a slight trashy sound to it. I'll bet that from out front you wouldn't even hear it though.

Hey guys & gals, picked up a used set of Pearl Visions in Strata Black. My Custom Classics are at Church and appear that they may be there for a while which means I get to play so, I used that for an excuse to pick up another set for the house. Found these of CL and jumped on them. They sound great and are like new. The hardware is not the best except for the hi hat stand which is a new Yamaha. Anyhow, heres a few pics.

Thank you, Coming from you that is a great complement. Having mostly junk for most of my life this is a big step up.... Except for my Clear Fibes I had from the 70s. This is the best Ive ever had....And I love your kit I am in love with that color, and I want a rack.... Down the road, still have to get a dbl bass pedal and 14" crash and a 18" China.....Fathers Day??????

The Snare head is a Hi Energy, real thick heavy duty. Don't think I will use it on my 2000. Looking for a more vintage sound for that snare.....
