Looking good, you have a nice collection of cymbals there and also your guitarist has a banner for a head...nice.

Bass drum mounted for now. I plan on getting a clamp or another stand to off set them soon.

    Nice kit man!! looks great.

BTW have you considered getting a rack? It looks like you gig a lot and it'd make easier to carry your hardware around, besides you can offset your toms with having to mount them on a stand...

We gig pretty regularly. It's a real pain setting up and tearing down the kit. Takes me a solid 30-45 minutes to get it set up exactly how I like it.

I know a rack would make things easier but I really don't like the look of them. I'm weird about stuff like that. To me, it's as much about looks as it is about function.

Those are some amazingly sick drums, dude. Welcome aboard! Nice to see another Jerseyan around the boards. Just wondering, what did you use to paint your shells and hoops? I've been dabbling with the idea of painting my shells, but really don't know where to start.

    thanks a lot guys.
I was a little skeptical going into painting them, because it was my first time, but I decided that I could always buy wraps to put on top of it if i didn't like the way it turned out.

But i pretty much just took off the stock gray shells, then put a gray primer on everything, and then just sprayed regular, home depot spray paint. I cant think of the name, but I just saw it on the shelf and bought them. took about 3 cans of black paint, 3 cans of primer and 2 cans of green.

Overall I'm happy with the way it came out.

It definitely came out cool. I had a feeling it was regular spray paint. Glad to see it worked out for you. Maybe I'll give that a try one of these days...*ponders*
