    Thanks everyone. Tamas are so nice. The birch/bubinga sounds amazing! There is a lot of attack and volume(birch), but with the nice warm, deep, and dark sound of bubinga. And yes, there is a saw blade. It is a sweet looking alternative to a chime lol

    BB, I would recommend them highly, and I can definitely see using them in a church setting. By bringing this up, I have now cursed you my friend! Now you won't be able to go through a music store without dragging the chimes as you pass!

    The black splash thing is the saw blade. i have lost two sticks to it, but it is worth it. To have a saw, you just have to be careful and hit with only the tip, where there are no sharp protrutions
