Hi guys, I got my digital camera fixed and took some better pictures of my Ludwig. It's an Accent Custom, I found it for a really cheap deal when I was away on holiday and even though isn't a perfect kit, suits me. A bit better quality so I thought I should post.

What's the issue? They don't look too bad to me. Maybe set a little flat.

Bob this kit was astounding this present weekend. I really put her through the paces and the only malfunction was a snapped stainer/snare string about 12 mins into our set on Saturday evening. No biggie. I replaced the broken string and the wire set with mylar straps and a set of Pearl brass 20 strand wires. Needless to say Sunday went off without a hitch. I missed my Tobacco fade Cat maples so much.. these are a very welcomed new set of ministry tools. Fabulous! -Les
I have committed to this kit.

That's an easy fix. I seem to see them from very flat to almost vertical in pix!

I'm not real happy with the sound off for my snare. It REALLY kills it. It's the only one I bought and then switched to moon gel.

I like the fact that I can"adjust" how much to dampen.

I've posted a few shots of this kit before, but a few more can't hurt. I just got a set of Pearl Ash Tone Blocks and an "El Negro" Cowbell. The blocks replaced LP Jam Blocks. The sound is so much nicer and so not plastic. I had been using a 15 year old LP Rock cowbell that now qualifies as hand hammered.

The kit is a Yamaha Beech Custom in Blueberry finish with an old Weckl snare and Matador timbale.

Please excuse the purple rug. It seemed like a good idea when I was at Andersons, but now stays in the practice room.

Umm no, I had bought those for the Forum. You guys told me to not scrimp on the hardware! The Visions were a shell pack.
