Been a while since I posted a pic. A few of the upgrades have been caused a case of GAS. Just can't help myself, ya know. New, (to me, that is),16" Paiste 2000 china, 10' wuhan splash, and a few things ya can't see, such as a refurbished vintage Speed King and refinshed vintage wooden bassdrum hoops. One pic shows the vintage Acrolite I picked up at the pawn shop.

Well, I re-arranged the Drum Room abit today. Tried to give some of the space back to the family. Not much, just want to show I care. About my drums that is. The better half is wanting to down size the home. No way, need room for more drums and drum stuff.

I think I just had a drum-gasm when I saw those baby blue and white Gretsch drums. If those baby's sound as good as they look, I would say that they were made by angels. I have never seen drums so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

Were those a custom job, or can you buy them right off the shelf that way? I've got to know the details of that kit!

ntn2it, those are the Gretsch Renown 57's. They came that way, it was a limited run last year but I believe there are still some kits available. I know they are doing them in gloss black this year.

rritter, they all sound good but if I had to pick the N&C CD Maples by a hair over the Cherry Burst Renowns. I have EC2s on both of those kits. I am using vintage Remo heads on the Renown 57s for an old school sound.
