Thank you, everybody, for the warm welcome. And thank you for the compliments on my kit... a lot of time and money into it, and a lot of fun! My first question... is there a way to get a larger pic in the signature? I was a little surprised at how small it appeared.

    Welcome to Drum Chat, Boomah.

Drum Chat is, by far, the the best online drum forum. It's more than just fellow drummers and percussionists sharing knowledge and experience. It's a friendly community where friendships are formed and built in a fun and also relaxing atmosphere. There are no egos here and questions, no matter what they may be, are answered with respect. This is a safe community, built on trust. It is that trust and mutual respect that allows for discussions that, at times, go beyond drumming and touch on relatively personal issues where we are here to help uplift and encourage one another. Drum Chat welcomes newcomers with open arms and treats long-time members with the respect they have earned. From beginners to veteran drummers, young and old, male or female, this is the place to be.

Again, welcome. We look forward to your input and getting to know you.

+1, one of the best introductory/welcoming posts i've heard in awhile! Well said my man. It can sometimes get a little heated and rough, but all in all it's a great spot.

Wow... sounds to me like I've come to the right place! Thank you again for the welcomings. You all are making me feel right at home.
And yes, ty7177, I'm already overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the info I'm seeing here, and I look forward to digging in. And I hope I can help others as others help me. Let the fun begin!
