mdee, the administrators changed the look of the site and solicited everyone's thoughts. More people liked things the way they had always been. Shortly thereafter, the look of the site was changed back.
About a week ago I clicked on the Drum Chat link to find that the website at full screen was centered simular to the way Apples website looks.
I thought it was a nice change for this site. It had less dead space between the right to left columns. Now it is back to loading as a wide full page.
I guess it was just a fluke of my web browser (Firefox) but the look fluke or not was defiantly clean looking and easy to view.

There were some complaints about how the page didn't automatically resize, it had to be almost maximized to see everything on the dc page at once. All that scrolling just got tiring after awhile. If you have multi-monitors it wouldn't be a big deal, but that's not something most people have set up.

Yes, I much prefer the way it is now (and used to be). The centered version was whack.
Well that explains it! So I am not crazy after all... Who knew?
The way it is now is old and tired and so 1990's looking.
The other way was new and fresh. Oh well I guess they tried.
