Other facts:
Was invited by Frank Zappa to partake in several projects, inlcuding the cd "Zappas Universe". He also shared drummers seat with Terry Bozzio on Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa's band Z's album Shampoohorn. Most recognised piece of work by his fans is the album Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects: Sol Niger Within.

IMHO, his style and playing is just amazing, and he is one of the few that really inspire me on what comes to famous drummers.
