    Default Interesting Concept

Today I was playing some random beat and one of my guitarists grabbed another pair of drumsticks and started keeping rhythm on the crash, then I had 2 hands free to play fills and got off an awesome solo.

    Cool Interesting concept

Next time return the favor and plunk a few notes on the guitar while your buddy's playin' the high-hat

Actually, maybe your guitar dude could play another percussion instrument while you're soloing (I would recommend bongos or congas of course!) and you could trade off...some riffs from you, then from the bongo player...

    Keep workin' on it!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." --Henry David Thoreau, "Walden," 1854

"There's a lot to be said for Time Honored tradition and value." --In memory of Frank "fiacovaz" Iacovazzi

"Maybe your drums can be beat, but you can't."--Jack Keck

oh, I'm terrible, the only thing I can play on guitar is Moonlight Sonata. I tried tapping once and it came out horribly.

Last time I let my guitarist do something stupid like that, he ended up knocking over my stand and 14" in the middle of a song.

Ah, he did end up turning the top part of the stand sideways... guitarists.

    They just lack subtlety
