    has any of you ever cried while playing the drums? not because of pain but because you were just having a complete blast playing along to a song?

    Cant say i have. Im usually too pumped. But yea i do get emotional and attached.

    Hmmmmm, not that I remember. I once hit my own eye with a stick while playing and forced tears lol. But never thought I was doing that good.

    Ive cried when listening to certain songs....... Now when playing..... I think i may have singing once :S

    Never cried, but I have but in that extra umph even though I'm flat out exhausted at the last song because it so powerful however.

    I was implying that a song that would some 'extra' emotional people cry I would usually put that extra bit of power into; I was using the last song in an album as an example because most songs at the end of album tend to be a little more emotionally powerful.

    I've never cried over my drumming, but I'm sure there may have been some that have heard my playing that felt like crying . . . and asking me to put the drumsticks down, and walk away!!

    But I am getting better!!

    I never cried whilst listening to this one song. But after listening to it properly, late at night style...ah, it freaked me out because it was that beautiful.

    oh well i've cried right after drumming and probly during too it was just a really bad day and thanks to a certian guitarist/singer/mango i was really down about everything inculding my drumming that sadly last quite a while and i got called emo many times but i feel much better now and i play better but i still have a little emo in me

    We all get a little emo about our playing, but--a little more seriously than my earlier comment--when I get revved up, just the opposite occurs--I don't cry, I get manic!

    whao alot of comments, more then i thought haha, well thats interesting, i was just listening to a song last night and i was playin drums to it and i was crying because I was having so much fun and the song was so good. I must be one meotion guy... . sorry to hear that MrMojoRisin, i hope all goes well and welcome back man, *** drummer would say, kick off your shoes and stay awhile!
