    Main Band: King's X
    Brief Summary: Jerry Gaskill, born December 27th, 1957. Has been the drummer for King's X since 1987. He started drumming at the age of 4 with just a snare his musician Father had given to him. He played his first bar gig at 7 years old in a band called Jerry and the Knights which consisted of his brother and his Dad. Eventually joining up with Doug Pinnick, and Ty Tabor calling themselves The Edge. The name eventually morphed into King's X. Probably one of the best rock bands nobody has ever heard of.

    Other Facts: Jerry suffered a heart attack on February 25, 2012 and underwent emergency surgery. After surviving that, recently his New Jersey house was recently destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.

    Yeah, a few of my muso mates and myself have certainly heard and like King's X. "Faith Hope Love" is a great album. Pity to hear about Jerry's bad luck of late, here's hoping that he'll be on the rebound soon.

    love kings x, been a fan for over twenty years. pity to hear about jerry, hope the health issues are manageable. shame about the storm, hope he's insured. to say its a ruff patch would be a serious understatement. my thoughts are with him.

    I always liked Kings X especially Dogman. Gaskill has a really good meter for playing things slow.
