I'll take one of the supralites, Please...Thank you
Thanks for the comments, yeah its an addictive hobby, lol. Yeah the deeper the better actually 6.5 to 7 is my fav all around size for most things but on occasion the deeper ones just give it that something extra. I am really impressed by the supralites even right out of the box with the stock heads and wires it sound great and the price is a steal, the only thing I did not like was it had no nylon washers on the tension rods, a quick trip to Ace hardware an it now has them. I have to cool it for a while if I can on getting any new ones and maybe just do some mods to keep me content. Thanks again.
Very nice collection. Congrats.
Im kinda partial to the Ludwig snare myself.

Oooh nice! The site says it's a bubinga finish, does that mean it's a complete bubinga snare? Or just the outer ply for finishing over a maple shell? Love the throw by the way, one thing that kinda bugged me about throws in the past is you had to turn with your hand. Which most of the time isn't necessarily bad, but it gets stuck sometimes and with just your hand getting it to move was a blunder. It seems like a nice consideration to design, allowing drum key access - so if it ever sticks on you, you'll have a bit more torque available to get it movin. Great thinking by pdp/dw on the design.

Its a 20 ply with 18 maple and a inner and outer ply of bubinga, I retro-fitted the mag throw on two other snares and love it, They are selling these on e-bay for just under 200 right now and after seeing one in a music store(the shallower one) I just couldn't resist.
Nice collection. If it doubles in size, you might give Michael a run for his money.
Mmm... Saturns.
Thanks, Not much chance of that unless we get a bigger house then look out!
That is a nice looking snare, It will blend well with the other
I got it today and it is fantastic, I thought it was too good to be true at first but its not. I put on the nylon washers and an Aquarian Hi-velocity and it sounds great, focused, huge attack and loud. I will give it some time and give a more in depth review.
GREAT collection!!
