Man, that thing looks cool. I hadn't seen it before. I don't know what to congratulate you on first; your new drumset or 8 years with your hubby! Both are super cool!
I had a feeling you were going to get that kit a bit sooner than you thought...glad to see my hunch was correct!
Congrats! Not only do you love your life more because you have drums in it--you also have a hubby who loves you more because he's proud of a band that will soon have his drummin' wife in it!
Play 'em loud and play 'em proud, d_c!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

Congratulations on the aniversarie, and the new drum set!! May you have many more years together.
SO happy for ya girl!
I played my new kit all last night, for hours, found some basic fills on youtube and started jamming, it was very cool. My girls got such a kick out of my playing, they had no idea that I could play like that. Obviously the months of practicing have totally paid off.......
Thanks Funky! It feels great, I have everything set up exactly how I like it. The pedals are fine, not as nice as my DW9000 but to tell you the truth I like them because I'm able to do the heel/toe method for quick doubles, something I couldn't do very well on my DW's. The sound is really nice and crisp, I'm actually surprised how great it sounds. It's the perfect kit for me and already, I've grown as a drummer. I've been able to do fills that I've wanted to practice for so long but couldn't on my practice pad.
I hope to love your life with your husband and the drums for ever!!!!!
Congratulation for both!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nice kit there. congrats on both the 8yrs and the kit :D
