I know there are a ton of great guys around here beating drums daily. I am located in the SE area myself, near Clackamas.

So many nice med venues, and a few decent larger ones. But almost impossible to attempt to make any money from tickets. If you ask for more than $3-5 at door you will price yourself out of a venue. So rely on merch if you want to recoup much expenses, but there are plenty of places that will give bands a stage to use almost any night of the week. Many venues are truly multi-genre friendly and so far the ones that are pretty niche make it fairly obvious so your deathcore band isnt playing at a country bar.
