Popular technique from the 80's: Take the resonate head off your bass. It happens in small areas when your playing in a small room and the sound is bouncing off the walls etc.
Every time I play my kick the snare wires buzz. How do I get rid of this?

With due respect, nobody takes the resonating head off to get rid of snare buzz. That's like swinging at a fly with a baseball bat. Use tried and tested modern techniques like detuning the lugs closest to the snare strainer and others.

OK.... this is scary, I have had the reso head on my bass off ever since i bought my kit. Is this the reason why i have to make my bass drum a linin closet?
The reason that it works to take the resonant head off the bass, is that it eliminates the harmonic vibration that is setting off the snare wires. Changing the tuning on the resonant head could work, too, and would be a less drastic move. You also might try tightening the snare wires, or changing the tuning of the resonant head of the snare.

I can certainly understand that. I'd probably be taking my resonant head off, too!
