You mean a hiding place from all the people that want to kill me on the internet?
No, I had too many kits set up in my small basement with low ceilings. I have a sub floor down there, but every year, around this time, there is always a little bit of water that finds its way, through the wall at the east end of the house. I have it pretty much under control now with sump pits, and pumps, but there is always the odd time when things don't go as planned. I needed a safe place for my growing collection, and the old barn was falling apart, so I saved the barn, and my collection, while adding a lot of extra square footage for my other hobbies.
A project of multiple happy endings, it's a great thing you did. Beautiful work too, you'd make a heck of an architect if you ever were interested in the field. If i ever find myself in the position to fix up an additional unit on property I owned, i'll definitely hit you up for some advice.

Sticks I love your big kits.

S4D: that's one awesome place you have there, looks like you could start a shop.
Congrats, you've put some serious work into it, enjoy it!
E kit: TD-9KX with VH-11 and v-cowbell and Diamond Drums custom snare
A kit: Gretsch Renown and Masterwork cymbals
He sure did but unfortunately s4d was banned from DC. I read on another forum that he just ordered a Mapex 13 pc Saturn v to add to his big collection of drums in his Drum Barn.
