Practice on drums or pad

I was just sitting here thinking about how many drummers practice on their drums or just pad. So I decided to just ask how many practice on their drum kits or pad? I myself practice on either on depending on how I feel.

you should practice on both. try practicing rudiments on a floor tom and feel that difference

for me its a lot to do with the time of day or how much I've already annoyed my neighbours.

If its late at night I'll go for my DW go anywhere practise pad kit and same goes for if I've been playing my main kit for hours and want to give my neighbours a break.

If its day time and I've not been playing too long I'll play on the kit, and yeah prectising rudiments on the floor tom is completely different to practising on a pad.

Both. Depends on how much noise I want to make and if I'm in the mood to irritate Mrs. Pocket.
