any favorite tv show/s

I'm not too much into todays tv shows. The science channel, history, military or speed channel is what I only really watch.

But in the late 70's and 80's I did watch a lot and my favorites were EMERGENCY! loved that show, even had the EMERGENCY! lunch pale for school. Then CHiP's watched it every Sunday night. I think that was the day it came on. Thoses two were my favorites.

Others I liked were Dukes of Hazzard and BJ and the Bear. I think the last show I watched regularly was Miami Vice.

I got rid of cable TV, and I just stream Netflix now, along with an antennae that pulls in a few free local HD channels so I can watch current sports and news, from time to time. I guess there's no real favorite for me; just whatever I'm in the mood for.

There are a few shows on that I like. Hawaii 5 O, NCIS, L&O SVU, Person of Interest, Body of Proof, Blue Bloods.

I don't watch them when they are on, I DVR them so I can shoot through the commercials.

The Terminator was a good show, as was a lot of them that get gone because of ratings.

Most of Russ's list I've seen and also agree would be in my list as well in my lifetime of watching T.V. The Big Bang Theory hasn't been listed yet. The new one just out on the SciFi channel Defiance, looks promising. Pickers, Gold Rush, Yukon Men, Survivorman, American Choppers, etc. Are all watchable as well.

Dang.. People still use antennas? I remember doing that a lot as a kid, used to have one of those real small handheld tv's. Imagine gathering the fam around that!

well didn't want to bring it up earlier and it's why I brought up the question but i should be getting season 3 of EMERGENCY! in the mail any day now. Will eventually get the other three for the complete series.

The old game shows were fun. We use to watch those during summer vacation from school The Gong Show that was ground breaking tv in it's day ,

Remember the game show Concentration where the panels would turn around revealing a puzzle behind them?. Always thought the noise the puzzle block made when it would turn around was weird sounding.
