Do you have a link, or can you post a photo of the notation of what you're trying to learn? I'm not familiar with Dawson, and in my experience the bossa nova foot ostinato tends to be in 4/4 most of the time.
Dawson rudimental ritual - double drag.
Little confused on bossa nova ostinato foot pattern with double drag tap written in 3/4 time. How is it counted to apply the foot ostinato?
