So I have the chance to get a PDP lx(maple) for $250. The guy at GC told me over the phone that it has a little rust on the inside but other than that its fine. Should I get it, or should I just wait for something better. I've been wanting a maple kit for sometime and this deal sounds fairly decent. If its not what I want then I can ship it back and get my money back. So...what do you all think.

PDP LX have nice finishes if memory serves me. Lacquer? However, with rust anywhere, there's a chance for warped wood. I'd hold off, myself.

I agree with Bish. rust = humidty, and thats definitely not good for wood

I'd pass due to the rust. Rust on the inside? Is it the bolts that hold the lugs to the shell?

i was wondering that too Fish.. I would assume it has to be, what else is there... either way, a PDP LX shouldn't be that old that its rusting...
