My latest acquirement, the Stradivarius under the drums, a Lignum Drums 14x6 Sycamore Maple stave snare (again, don't judge a book by its cover) hand crafted by the master Gert Breugelmans

Its basically every snare I have ever played over the last 24 years in one. It excels in every way.

    As for that last one...
Love it. What year? Never heard of that brand/maker before.
The Unix drums are all gorgeous, too. But, that last one stands out as potentially vintage, yes?

    Proudly playing:
    Doc Sweeney Drums
    A bunch of snares
    A bunch of cymbals

    Off-Set double pedals

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

That's a 2016 Oriollo Phantom 14X6.5 Snare Drum with Grafitti finish.
    It's not vintage at all.

    Gorgeous!
Now a snare/strainer question: is the cord knotted on the wires and not run around and thru like everybody else's? Does that work better?

The cord is knotted on the wires.
It's not better or worse than the usual way.

I think we have someone that might be able to give Michael a run for a nice snare drum collection. I'm jealous.
