Default Where to buy Hard Shell conga case

Hi everybody. Ive been all over google and i cant find a decent
hardshell conga case. Best ive been able to find is a fiber board
case, kina like the same material as a cheap guitar case. I have
a 5 piece set on lay away at guitar center, LP performers series
Black and siam oak with a celtic pattern. 12&1/2" Tumba 11&1/2"
conga and 11" quinto with a set of bongos. Beautiful drums they are
and i plan on using these at shows. I dont really want to slap them
in conga bags....Anyone know if im going to be able to find what
im looking for? I cant seem to figure out why this is eluding me.
I used "professional hardshell conga case" for my google search
and many versions of the same. I want a case that will protect
these beauties in a trailer or pickup bed. Any and all help is
very much appreciated. Im really excited about getting these because
my current toca's are a 10&1/2" quinto and a 9" requinto, both solid
black. Im gonna have a 7 piece set of hand drums

Cool Where to buy Hard Shell conga case!

Jack, those LPs look killer--and puttin' them together with the Tocas, you're gonna sound as good as they look!

Wish I could do better with helpin' ya on the hard-shell cases (I have two soft-side bags I use for my red CPs and they're not totally bang-proof!), but this set was the only one I could find, and frankly it looks like the ones you described earlier...

I wish I could help you. I don't know of any companies that make hardshell cases for congas. (there's a market out there Beato, Road Runner, Gator.........hint,hint) The one that BB put up is the only ones I know of. You might try getting ahold of someone at LP or Toca. They make the best congas, so I'm sure someone there would know where to find the best protection for them.

Oh, and by the way, that set is absolutely beautiful! I'm jealous....

Ok, i finally found what i was envisioning. I knew they had to exist.
I was simply using the wrong search words, but after scrolling through
page after page, site upoun site i came across these hardshell cases
made by LP. They have wheels and look durable enough for an airplane
ride, or a 4x4 trip to that country shin dig Only problem
is they cost almost as much as the drums did. Check this out...I got the
set in the pic above for $599.00 before tax. Also i have to buy the stands
including the bongo stand, but these drums retail around $339 per conga.
I got a smokin deal and only have $188 bucks left to pay on my layaway.
I put the bongo stand on the layaway but gotta buy the conga stands
still. I didnt really care for the stands they had at guitar center, so ive
been searching for something more appealing.... anyways for the rest
of you hand slammers heres the link to the hardshell cases, check em
out this is the real deal. http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem.asp?ItemID=36061
