I had some strange gas at Best Buy today. I think it was my high fiber breakfast before church. Anyways, I heard that a store close to me was closing out their music department. So, I strolled in. I picked up a Pearl Powershifter Eliminator 2002C for $119. GC sells them for $375. I almost fainted when I saw the price. I also scored a 22" Emad BD batter for 19.99.

I am still shocked about this. I was originally looking for some Sabian AAX cymbals, but they were gone. I almost bought a couple Pearl 900 series cymbal stands, but I had to face reality. I don't know crazy deal for me.

I was surprised that they sold music gear myself. I am still in shock over that buy. I let some of my musician friends know, but they either were not interested, or there was nothing they wanted.

Best Buy often has incredible clearance deals on top name stuff. Buddy of mine got some DW9000 pedals for ridiculously cheap. He didn't even know they sold music gear and happened to walk buy them thrown in a big clearance bin.
