Good golly. It'd be easier to name what I haven't. I worked my way thru school restoring and selling drums. The one's I have played include - WFL, Majestic, Norma, Sonor, Camco, Hollywood, Slingerland, Ludwig, Ayotte, Gretsch, Rogers, Premier, Craviotto, Yamaha, DW, Fibes, Tama, Pearl, Star, Revelle, Zildjian {snare} Roland. And more I've forgotten. Can I count my Radio King's as a separate brand?

I'd enjoy a review of your Drum Craft drums if you have the time. If you've already written about them, just provide a link, and I'll check it out.

I probably have the shortest list:

    Tama Rockstars
    Pearl Sessions
    Sonor Bop Kit
    Pork Pie Custom

    Backline:
DW and some brand of expensive Japanese drums whose name escapes me.

    Most memorable :
I sat in with a band in a club in Dallas for a couple of songs........1978 maybe ?
The drummer had a set of Ludwig (like current Legacy shells) that had a pair of virgin 14 X 26 basses...........a 10 X 14 tom on a snare stand between the basses...........and the two floor toms were 16 X 16 and 18 X 18............he also used a vintage Supra..............fun set to play.
    Gretsch USA & Zildjian
(What Else Would I Ever Need ?)

I've owned in the past, in order:

old Rogers set (my first set) don't know the make

Premier XPK (the most booming bass drums I've ever owned

    Pearl ELX fusion

    current: pdp FS

ones I want to upgrade to: (I'm cool with any, just depends on where the best deal comes when I'm ready to get it)

DW performance (or Collectors used if the deal is right)

    Tama Starclassic B/B

Mapex Saturn IV (I like them more than the old Saturns)

I'm leaning towards the DWs because I already have a DW double tom stand that I use with the pdp's...will make that transition easier
