our band find ourselves in a cool comp!

Hi,
last thursday, we got a facebook message asking if we were available to fill in after a band dropped out of a heat in a comp... we had 1 hour to be on stage..
to cut a long story short, we turned up, with just guitars and a double kick pedal, set up on a borrowed kit etc and played, we only had 20 minutes to do it, and decide on a set list, of 45 mins.
we just went for it and we actually won, and we have more heats coming up!
now we know what's up for grabs, we are going to try really hard.

£1000 cash
a day on a recording studio
6 paid pub gigs
and a slot at a music festival

It was a real fun night!
I will let you know if we get any further!

Hi, I guess it will be a little local thing, I would love to play the tribfest, we have it every year, loads of tribute bands BUT a young and unsigned stage too, it gets about 4000 people there.

we will have to wait and see!
