OMG. Drummer, WTG, man.
My hats off to the decision makers on this one. I hope it stays true to the rules.
Welcome to our new classifieds section of Drum Chat.
DRUMCHAT CLASSIFIEDS RULES:
- As a member, you must already have 100 posts elsewhere in the forum before being able to post in this section of the forum. This does not include numerous posts in game or off topic threads.
- You may only sell your personal gear, not that of another party.
- You may not link or refer to ebay or craigslist or another website. Your ad must be contained within this post.
- You may not use pictures with store or website branding.
- You must have a "full" description of your product including a picture.
- No vintage drums at this time (over 30 years old).
- No dealers in any way, shape or form.
- All posts must list a specific asking price; no "feelers" or "best offer". This avoids any auction type situations and prevents hard feelings between members.
- All posts must list a location of the seller. This reduces a ton of unnecessary posts and keeps it efficient.
- Posting comments about the seller's asking price (too high, not worth that, that's a steal, etc.) should be prohibited. Also, posting negative comments about the seller, item, condition, etc., should be prohibited.
- Posting of extraneous information by an uninvolved party should be prohibited. All posts should be between the seller and any interested potential buyer, asking questions, answering questions, etc.. No tire kicking...and if you don't want to buy the item, stay out of the thread. Leave it to the seller and the buyers.
- No "what's it worth" posting.
- Upon posting in this section, you agree that Drum Bum, Inc (owner of forum) will not be held responsible for any part of the transaction that takes place as it relates to this forum. Proceed with caution.
- Because these rules are subject to change, check this page before posting.
If the rules are broken, you risk banishment.
==========================
TIPS ON NOT GETTING SCAMMED:
- Use PayPal
- If something "smells funny", back out. Trust your instincts.
- Avoid making payment as a "gift".
- Be an informed buyer. Do as much research as possible.

Signature here
I twisted their arm a little bit.
Whoa... I thought I'd never see this on here. Man, I hope it works out. I feel sorry for you and pb trying to moderate this section.
Is this going to be strictly for members of this board or can I post a friends gear if he/she is selling?
Wow! Tremendous! Thanks Drum Bum and Drummer. I think this will be a great addition to an already great forum!
Tell me about it.
It has to be your gear since you're the member. This section can get abused quickly so please understand and appreciate the need for strict guidelines. Is this going to be strictly for members of this board or can I post a friends gear if he/she is selling
Also, just an aside...you'd think a full description and a picture would be obvious on a FS thread/ad. It's shocking how many postings on the web don't have those. Who wants to buy something without seeing pictures?
ummm, had to ask, just what would be considered vintage?
I get it Tom....For my safety, I'd probably PM a mod before posting with any questions if I thought they may linger outside of the rules. Thank you.

very cool!
Can we get this renamed? And stuck at the top?
I assume that if I want to sell the set of Pearl Exports I have, I can post them here with no problems.
Great news Drummer.................thanks for going to bat for us.
Curious...I may have missed something, but why the "no vintage drums" decision?
