I want a crush snare solely for the chevron strainer. Sharp lookin' drum btw.
I have the 6.5 x 14 version of this I got off E-bay for 200 bucks. I was on the fence on this for a while but now I have to say its just as good as my re issue limited Acrolite that cost twice as much. The build quality is excellent and I really like the look of the tube lugs on the smooth brushed aluminum body. The chevron throw is certainly nicer than the P-85 that came on the Acrolite. The stick saver hoops sound great and are a nice touch. This sounded great right out of the box with the stock heads and wires, in fact all I have changed is the batter, I went with a Evans PCRD.
If you are looking for great sounding aluminum drum but cannot afford a Supra or Acrolite then consider this.

Great looking snare, I 'm sure it sounds great, I have a Crush Acrylic and love it.
That's the guy.
Man ! I like the looks of both of those.
The tube lugs with the aluminum................beautiful.
The acrylic snare has always been attractive to me since the first Luddie I saw in the early 70s.

Cheap Labor would be my guess, I got the Aluminum as a used demo snare but it was like new with a few stick marks, I think regularly they are $290? but still cheaper than an Acrolite and the price of the acrylic is creeping up there now but still not bad considering all you get for your money.
