Yamaha stopped production on the Kabuto steel snares awhile ago. They have been hard to find. But I finally got one. At a good price too. They were going for 170-200 USD but the shopowner let it go for 150. I have no idea how long it has sat on the shelf, but it's in fabulous condition. I think the only stick marks on it are mine. The finish is flawless. Shiny red lacquer. Something I really liked, was the brass hardware on the inside. Just looks nice. Anyhow here is the pic. The smudge in the pic is a fingerprint.
