    For me, I think I like the final config better than the first one. It looks less confusing.

    Believe it or not, got something quite similar to it amongst all the various tools I inherited from my grandfather many years ago. It's floating around in an old toolbox of his somewhere here....if I come across it I'll do a pic. I know it's around.

    Love that dark StarClassic kit -- one up -- two down....................that is exactly what I'm digging now with my Gretsch USA............looks good !

    Nicely done! I just switch to double bass drums myself took my double pedal apart and turned them into singles it feels great no shaft no lag!!

    I got one. When I was in high school drum line I had one that came in handy for those high tensioned drum heads. I lost it, and when I returned to drumming years later, I had to have one. Never use it. BTW, the one I had in the 80s was chrome like your if I remember correctly. The one I have now is black anodized.

    .......not a Ludwig ratchet, but I have the Gibraltar copy of it....................thought it was a good buy at the time, but I rarely use it.
