What I find rare are 14" depth bass drums, though they once were the standard.

I finally got to use it live (in church)

Wow! All Maple, warm, yet punchy, and incredibly big-sounding for an 18".

I had a color-matched Gretsch Cat Club 18" I was using before. It is mahogany, and did okay, but the real deal Renown? Awesome!
